Kayleigh Groenendijk (1985) is a photographer who shares moments of stillness in a world that rarely pauses. Her work invites a slower rhythm: one of presence, softness and attention.

With a background in fast-paced corporate marketing, she knows momentum well. But over time, she craved something else: space to breathe, to observe, to reconnect. A different rhythm. Photography became her way to pause. A way to feel more, not just do more.

She works with natural light and minimal gear, following a simple approach: less intervention, more observation. Her process is intuitive, grounded in trust. Trust of the moment, the subject, and the story waiting to be seen.

Her images are born on empty roads, golden hours, and silent trails. They don't shout, but make you zoom in and look longer. Each frame is a soft conversation between motion and stillness.

She lives and works in cycles: periods of deep focus and forward motion, followed by time to wander, to travel, to simply be.

It was during long hikes in Asia and her first safari in Africa that her perspective shifted and her photography found its voice.
